We drove up to the Top of New Zealand (the warm part, nearest the equator), and saw giant Kauri trees. They're like Redwoods.

It's day 2, and we've uttered the word "Amazing!" about 1000 times already. We camped out by a waterfall, and saw the southern stars for the 1st time ever, muttering "Amazing!" yet again. As we stood there arm-in-arm, a shooting star pierced the Southern Cross, welcoming us to the Great Down Under.
